Our journey started in October 2019 when we were both working full time in banking and teaching. We decided we needed to make some extra money for our travel plans and thought of the idea to start selling sweets as a second income to people in our local area.

When Covid cut our travel plans short in March 2020, we returned back to England two days before the first national lockdown. Returning without our previous full time jobs. This is when we decided to resurrect Sugar Rush and started to deliver sweets to our local community and posting nationwide.

In July 2020 we opened the doors to our physical shop - Sugar Rush Sweeties in Garforth, Leeds. We also run all local and postal deliveries from our HQ.
